| Animals, The | It's A Bikini World | "IT'S A BIKINI WORLD" from 1965 is very hard to find and is the complete uncut version and is good quality. It stars Deborah Walley, Tommy Kirk, Bob Pickett, Suzie Kaye, Jack Bernardi, William O'Connell, Sid Haig, Jim Begg, Lori Williams & Pat McGee. Deborah Walley, Tommy Kirk compete against each other in this battle of the sexes played out on sunny California beaches. When Walley initially rejects him, Kirk takes on a disguise and pretends to be the kind of guy that she claims she really likes. As usual in beach movies, there are popular music acts of the day, including "The Toys" doing their obscure number "Attack" instead of the more common "A Lover's Concerto" and "Eric Burdon and the Animals", The Animals look great in their performance of "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" The best of the groups, however, are "The Gentrys" & "The Castaways". The Gentrys perform their follow-up to the smash "Keep On Dancin" The tune -- "Spread It On Thick" -- is a killer 60s punk-rock classic, circa December 1965. If you love Paul Revere and Raiders on "Just Like Me" or "Steppin' Out" you should dig `Spread It On Thick" The crème-de-la-crème are, of course, The Castaways. Minneapolis, Minnesota's favorite sons perform their all-time, punk-rock classic, "Liar, Liar" They look great too even if none of the members appear to be over the age of 16! Pat and Lolly Vegas appear in this also and are fun too. One of the better non-Frankie and Annette beach movies as far as the fun quotient goes. | Excellent- |

The stars in this video are Julius LaRosa, Phyllis Newman, Conrad Janis, Wink Martindale, Joy Harmon, Paul Anka, Della Reese, The Royal Teens, Danny and the Juniors, Roy Hamilton and The Tyrones. LaRosa plays a mainstream crooner refusing to sing rock and roll. Danny & The Juniors’ rock the house with "At The Hop" and the Royal Teens play their hit song, "Short Shorts". Newman is entertaining as the singer’s girlfriend who convinces him to change his mind. Also this video comes in a hard plastic case with a great color sleeve. | Excellent- |

| Bell, Freddie & The Bellboys | Rumble On The Docks |
"RUMBLE ON THE DOCKS" juvenile delinquent movie from 1956 is hard to find and is good quality and is the complete uncut version. It stars James Darren, Laurie Carroll, Michael Granger, Jerry Janger, Timothy Carey, Robert Blake, Edgar Barrier & Freddie Bell and the Bellboys. This tense tale of waterfront corruption was clearly inspired by the success of On the Waterfront; there's even a character named Joe Brindo, played by Michael Granger. Newcomer James Darren plays Jimmy Smigelski, a budding juvenile delinquent who is hired as a "muscle man" for corrupt union leader Brindo. Kicked out of his house by his father, who despises all forms of gangsterism, Smigelski begins regarding Brindo as a surrogate dad. Thus, it takes a lot out of him when Jimmy discovers that his father-figure is a no-good louse. Agreeing to testify before an investigating committee, Jimmy is marked for death by his former benefactor. | VG+ |

It stars Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, Bo Diddley, Little Richard, the Five Stains, the Coasters, the Shirelles, Bill Haley and the Comets, Shirley and Lee. Old-time rock and roll acts perform in Madison Square Garden revival show. Outstanding performances, especially by Berry and Diddley. | Excellent- |

Also it has the ORIGINAL MOVIE TRAILER before the show in "LETTERBOX" also the Beach Boys segment is included which was not shown in the theaters, the quality of picture and sound is real nice. | VG++ |

Big T.N.T. Show |
"BIG T.N.T. SHOW" from 1966
is very hard to find and is the complete uncut version and is real nice
quality. It stars David McCallum, Ray Charles, Petula Clark, The Lovin'
Spoonful, Bo Diddley, Joan Baez, the Ronettes (with Ronnie Spector),
Roger Miller, the Byrds, Donovan, the Modern Folk Quartet, Ike and Tina
Turner. The grand Phil Spector production is similar to the first TAMI
show with a lot of energy and it s live at Hollywood's Moulin Rouge!
Spector accompanies Baez on the piano. McCallum of Man from UNCLE
TV-show fame is the M.C. Look fast for Frank Zappa in the audience. The
false start by the Spoonful is a hoot. The go-go dancers and
choreography are great. |

This gives con man Duke (Peter Marshall) the perfect opportunity for his latest scam, one that involves submitting Freddie's song to a contest. Unfortunately, a wind gust blows the finished piece away just before Freddie turns it in. The two scramble to catch the tune, but it ends up in the hands of a priest who is suddenly inspired to enter the contest himself. | Excellent- |

| Checker, Chubby | Twist Around The Clock |
"TWIST AROUND THE CLOCK" from 1961
is hard to find in great quality and this is
great quality, this video is complete and uncut. The
movie stars Chubby Checker, Dion, The Marcels, Clay Cole, Vicki
Spencer, John Cronin, Mary Mitchell, Maura McGiveney, Tol Avery, Alvy
Moore, Lenny Kent, Tom Middleton and Jeff Parker. Unlike some of the "twist" movies that hit the theaters in the early '60s when the dance craze flourished, Twist Around The Clock has something resembling a plot. Mitch Mason is an out-of-work promoter who sees people doing the "twist" in a regional backwater -- and immediately understands that the dance could be a real hit. His problem lies in getting anyone to believe him, and making money in the process. It turns out that the daughter of the head of a major agency could be his ticket to fame and fortune but he ignores her interest in him, at least for awhile. In the end, this teen-oriented tale is best remembered for two of Dion's hit songs, Runaround Sue and The Wanderer. Other vocals are supplied by Chubby Checker, The Marcels and Vicki Spencer. |

The stars in this video are, Bobby Darin, Sandra Dee, Donald O'Connor, Nita Talbot, Larry Storch, Leo G. Carroll & Robert Strauss. Sandra Dee plays a struggling actress who works as a maid to pay the bills. One of her clients is rich and powerful publisher Bobby Darin (her husband in real life). The pair fall in love after bumping into each other several times around New York without realizing that they also have a professional relationship. Embarrassed to take Darin home to her tiny apartment, she instead brings him to his own large and opulent apartment (thinking that her employer is away on business) and pretends it is hers. Darin realizes that she is his housekeeper but stays silent, allowing her to continue the deception. His business trip was canceled and he can't go home because it would mean revealing his identity to Dee, so Darin moves in with his partner, O'Connor. Eventually each party learns the identity of the other but remains silent about the knowledge until things get out of hand when Dee plays a prank on Darin (she has his old girl friends dress as prostitutes and throws a wild party at his apartment) and they all end up in jail. Lots of great fun in this and Sandra & Bobby are great. | Excellent- |

| Darren, James | For Those Who Think Young | "FOR THOSE WHO THINK YOUNG" from 1964 is very hard to find and is the complete uncut version and the quality is real nice. The stars in this video are James Darren and Pamela Tiffin, and co-stars Paul Lynde, Nancy Sinatra, Claudia Martin ( Dean Martin's daughter), Tina Louise, Bob Denver, Robert Middleton, Ellen McRae and introduces comedian Woody Woodbury. Also in the movie is a rare appearance by Richard Delvy and Randy Nuart of the Challengers ("K-39") alongside Paul Johnson of the Bel-Airs ("Mr. Moto") adds a true surf music segment to the spice. They back an unidentified singer sweatin' out "Gonna Walk All Over This Land". The Plot: Oceancrest College is not only a seat of learning, but a source of fun and romance as well. The 'hip' student body spends it's leisure time in the swing of modern music and on the swell of nearby waves in the modern sport of surfing. Millionaire playboy "Ding" Pruitt (James Darren) crashes a girl's dorm to date Sandy Palmer (Pamela Tiffin) and runs afoul of her guardian, Woody Woodbury (Himself) when they enter the nightclub where he and partner Sid Hoyt (Paul Lynde) are performing between acts of stripper Topaz McQueen (Tina Louise). Both Woody and the playboy's wealthy grandfather (Robert Middleton) try to separate him from the girl. Sociology professor Dr. Pauline Thayer (Ellen McRae) tries to have the club declared off-limits, but finds it a healthy, clean place refusing to serve minors. During her investigation, she falls in love with Woody, who has become a partner in the club. The grandfather, with some cronies, finds a way to "plant" evidence in the club to close it. However, at the eleventh hour, he is unmasked as a former hood of the prohibition era and sentiment ends up with Woody. The club is saved. Woody and Dr. Thayer pair off, and so, of course, do Ding and Sandy. | Excellent- |
| Darren, James | Rumble On The Docks | "RUMBLE ON THE DOCKS" juvenile delinquent movie from 1956 is
hard to find and is good quality and is the complete uncut version. It
stars James Darren, Laurie Carroll, Michael Granger, Jerry Janger,
Timothy Carey, Robert Blake, Edgar Barrier & Freddie Bell and the
Bellboys. This tense tale of waterfront corruption was clearly inspired
by the success of On the Waterfront; there's even a character named Joe
Brindo, played by Michael Granger. Newcomer James Darren plays Jimmy
Smigelski, a budding juvenile delinquent who is hired as a "muscle man"
for corrupt union leader Brindo. Kicked out of his house by his father,
who despises all forms of gangsterism, Smigelski begins regarding
Brindo as a surrogate dad. Thus, it takes a lot out of him when Jimmy
discovers that his father-figure is a no-good louse. Agreeing to
testify before an investigating committee, Jimmy is marked for death by
his former benefactor. |

Also starring with Sandra are John Gavin, Charles Drake, Virginia Grey, Julia Meade, Beulah Bondi, Cecil Kellaway, Edgar Buchanan, Gigi Perreau, Juanita Moore & look for Billy Mumy & Stefanie Powers. Sandra Dee takes the lead in this tearjerker. Dee is a river-person, sad because her boy friend never writes to her from college. To offset costs she becomes an aide to Bondi (a staple in all the "Tammy" films), who is so delighted with her new worker that she moves onto the boat and rewards Dee with an expensive necklace. Dee has also caught the eye of handsome Gavin, a teacher on campus. Bondi's selfish niece Meade can't find her rich aunt, so she organizes a search party. She spies Dee with the necklace and has her arrested and Bondi brought up for a sanity hearing. Dee's earnestness comes through, and she and Bondi are cleared of every charge. | Excellent- |

the right man and get married. The right man turns out to be Paul
Davis (Jim Hutton) whom she meets at the supermarket. The only
problem is he ignores Libby because his ideal woman is TnT (tall and
top heavy), and that is one thing Libby is not. One day, Libby creates
a clothes stand which she calls the "Lady Valet". This product
interests Paul who wants to promote it. Paul gets Libby on the
"Tonight Show" to push the product and when she mentions that she was
formerly a singer, Johnny asks her to sing. After that, Libby's
career in showbiz finally starts to take off, to the astonishment of
Paul. Now Libby has a weapon to use to get Paul's attention!

| Gentrys | It's A Bikini World | "IT'S A BIKINI WORLD" from 1965 is very hard to find and is the complete uncut version and is good quality.

| Lennon, John |
Free Time |
"FREE
TIME" 10/71 One of the most intriguing Television appearance by the
Lennon's - this TV special was shot in front of a studio audience and
was presumably designed to promote Yoko's Syracuse exhibition which
opened five days before the broadcast. Alternative film-maker Jonas
Mekas was present throughout to help the Lennon's run through a series
of exhibits. John and Yoko appeared from out of a big Black bag and a blind-folded Yoko then introduced "Draw a circle", next John introduced "Fly" for which a white ladder was set up for audience members to climb and then 'fly' off from the top. "Sweep piece" was performed by a couple of stage hands throughout the entire show, they slowly swept the floor with brooms. "Question piece" saw the audience fire questions to John, Yoko and Mekas only to have a question returned. Yoko and Mekas then began having their own question and answer session (question by Mekas and an answer from Yoko), John was sitting on a chair timing their conversation with a stop-watch, he would cut lengths of string according to how long each question and answer lasted. Mekas finally ended the sequence "I do not have any more questions", Yoko replied "You don't have any more questions? May I ask you a question?" and she then lay on the floor and began screaming. Yoko collected all the pieces of string John had cut and put them in a glass jar, making comments as she picked them out again (for example - associating the longer pieces with a scream), she then made a necklace. For "Promise piece" Yoko broke a base with a hammer and asked the audience come to the stage and pick up each segment promising "We will gather here in 10 years and put them back together." The final piece was a wrapping event, John asked a few members of the audience to come to the stage to help John and Mekas wrap Yoko with gauze. Underneath, Yoko was breathing into a microphone before John and Mekas eventually carried her off the stage whispering the credits. |
